Call of the Wild Cat Fanciers

Established 1988, Sonoma County, California.

We are a small  group of cat-lovers based in the northern part of the San Francisco Bay Area.  Our club is affiliated with CFA, the Cat Fanciers’ Association,

(www.cfainc.org), founded in 1906, the world’s largest registry of pedigreed cats.   We generally meet once a month in the home of a club member.

Our goals:  promote thoughtful breeding of pedigreed cats, sponsor an annual cat show to spread information about cats in general, raise money to be used for the benefit of cats, encourage spay/neuter programs for cats not used in selective breeding programs, help in community education about cats and promote a positive understanding of pedigreed cats.

Our big community event:  the annual  CFA Allbreed Cat Show,  held on the third weekend of February at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds.  We encourage all cat-lovers to attend this delightful event, with its spectacular array of vendors’ booths including all kinds of products about and for cats, beautiful pedigreed cats vying for prizes,  and adorable shelter cats looking for their ‘forever’ homes
